At King’s, we are passionate about creating opportunities for our pupils to take their learning beyond the classroom. Visits to local galleries, theatres, exhibitions and places of interest happen regularly and make the most of the school’s fortunate position in the heart of the North West.
We also believe in the importance of residential trips to stimulate curiosity, foster independence and help pupils discover their own limitless potential.
Educational trips are a key part of a King’s education, giving opportunities to enhance classroom learning, whether that’s using language skills in real life situations, putting fieldwork skills to the test on a Geography field trip, or exploring a historical site.
We also value those trips that challenge pupils and require them to step out of their comfort zone, such as our annual outward bound trip to Ullswater for Third Year pupils and our World Challenge trip, both of which nurture resilience whilst building memories that last a lifetime.
Trips are designed and led by our experienced, specialist teachers to ensure we can pack the most into every minute while enriching learning from the classroom. Take a look at our Major Trips brochure below for an insight into the variety of trips that are planned for the years ahead.
