Congratulations to this year’s Junior School prizewinners.
On Monday, 3 July, parents, teachers and pupils gathered in the on-site marquee to celebrate the pupils’ achievements.
Guests were welcomed by Headmaster, Mr Hartley and entertainment was provided by the Junior School Choir who performed two fantastic pieces.
Mrs Ainsworth reflected on the achievements of the past year before introducing actor Cel Spellman.
Cel, who is is known for his roles in Waterloo Road and the revival of ITV drama Cold Feet, as well as as a host on CBBC and BBC Radio 1, spoke to pupils about the importance of following your dreams and doing what you love. To the delight of the adults in the audience, he also advised the children to listen to their teachers and parents as they always want the best for them.
The ceremony was concluded by J4 student Ragavi Gunaraj who gave the vote of thanks to staff, parents, Cel Spellman and to her fellow students.
