Winning streak for U11 footballers

Congratulations to our J4 (Year 6) footballers who have enjoyed a fantastic run of impressive wins, becoming AJIS U11 Plate Champions and ISA U11 Regional Champions in the space of just one week. 

At Cheadle Hulme, the team took the AJIS title in a thrilling penalty shoot out in their final match of the day. After winning five out of five games without conceding a goal in open play, it was a well-deserved victory for the boys. 

Just one week later, the boys travelled to The Grange for the ISA U11 Regional competition where they were crowned ISA Regional Champions after another 100% win record and another tournament with no goals conceded.

The J4 boys are also looking forward to a trip to St George’s Park in March after they won a silver medal in the ISA North Regional 5-a-side tournament at the beginning of this month. 

Mr Spellman coaches the boys: “I am really proud of how this team plays together, supports each other and works hard for each win. Their recent success is very well deserved!”
