156th Annual CAOKS Dinner

King’s were delighted to welcome back alumni, former teachers & current staff in January as CAOKS hosted their 156th Annual Dinner in the Vanbrugh Theatre.

It was great to see an array of former pupils back at King’s

Our speaker this year was Sir Stephen Phillips (OKS 1980) who was appointed Lord Justice of Appeal in 2019.

This is one of the highest ranks in the Judiciary of England and Wales, and all Lords Justices are also sworn into the Privy Council. No other OKS has achieved this status.

Stephen was educated at a local primary school before being awarded a free place at King’s. He left the school in 1980.

The conversation was flowing, as was the wine, as guests tucked into a delicious 3 course meal prepared by our catering team.

A fantastic evening was had by all
