On Saturday, 24 February, it was a pleasure to host our first 2024 reunion and welcome back Old King’s Scholars from 1954, 1964, 1974, and 1984.
Guests were greeted at the senior school reception with a warm drink before embarking on a school tour to witness the developments since their last visit.
The tour concluded at the Sixth Form Centre, where we showcased photos, yearbooks, and magazines from their time at King’s, sparking engaging conversations.
Attendees enjoyed a scrumptious curry and a generous slice of cake prepared by our catering team.
John Aves, a physics teacher from 1968-1995, was also in attendance.
He said: “I am very impressed by the new Sixth Form Centre; what a transformation! I also enjoyed seeing my old lab in the Walsh Wing, although it is hardly recognisable from my time at King’s!”
It was a pleasure to reconnect with everyone, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event soon.
