A group of 29 talented athletes represented King’s Juniors at the annual AJIS Sportshall championships. Held at Robin Park, Wigan, this is one of the biggest events of the year with a record number of school entries.
The school achieved an incredible total of 30 medals (14 gold, 8 silver, and 8 bronze).
The ‘green vests’ produced a number of personal bests and Joe Williams (J3H) broke the AJIS Year 5 3-lap sprint record. The talented squad performed brilliantly in all disciplines – track, jumps, throws, speed bounce, balance and displayed strong teamwork in the different relay challenges.
A huge well done to all pupils and many thanks for the parental support throughout the day.
