The King’s Junior School performed amazingly in the annual AJIS Cross Country Championships at Rossall. All 28 pupils returned to school wearing medals and achieved Team Gold in the Year 6 (Under 11) Girls and Year 6 (Under 11) Boys, Team Silver in the Year 5 (Under 10) Boys category and Team Bronze for the Year 5 (under 10) Girls.
The athletes posted very pleasing points totals in all events. King’s runners grouped well and ran as a squad on the challenging, undulating course.
The most notable individual performance was from Ben Pold (J4O) who was crowned AJIS champion.
