Members of the Sixth Form have the amazing opportunity throughout the Michaelmas term to work closely with Chester Zoo as part of their Enrichment sessions on a Friday afternoon.
During the first session today, Chester Zoo staff gave the students a talk on their recent campaigns that have aimed to not only raise awareness of wildlife and environmental issues, but campaigns that have encouraged the local community to Act for Wildlife. The Sixth Formers’ task over the coming weeks is to create a campaign that will encourage behaviour change in their community to take action, such as Chester Zoo’s Sustainable Palm Oil Challenge, Stop Illegal Wildlife Trade and Wildlife Connection campaigns.
