Fourths take to the stage for lunchtime recital

In our first lunchtime recital of 2023, GCSE musicians from the Fourth Year delighted the audience with a varied programme featuring pieces on a range of instruments including saxophone, trombone, violin, glockenspiel, piano and voice.

Lunchtime recitals take place every month in the music recital hall and are always well attended by Senior School staff and pupils.

Director of Music, Debbie Whitfield: “Our monthly recitals offer an opportunity for musicians to gain performance experience in front of a friendly and appreciative audience.

“It is always fantastic to see pupils supporting their friends at a recital, and the performers appreciate it when their teachers come along to listen too.”
