Removes pupils took their French language skills out of the classroom and into the kitchen last week.
Their teacher, Mrs Rowley-Williams, gave them a list of French ingredients and a recipe written entirely in French before setting them to work.
She said: “Measuring the ingredients and following the instructions in French is a great way for the pupils to use the language in a practical way.
“They are practising vocabulary and concepts that we have learned in class whilst having fun – with the added bonus of a delicious end product!”
The pupils baked gâteaux de fée (fairy cakes) and were able to chose their own toppings. Click on the image below for a gallery of pictures from the session.
Mrs Rowley-Williams hopes to run similar sessions in Spanish and German soon.
