Gallery: J4 production of Oliver Jr

On 28 and 29 June, many weeks of learning lines, practising songs and rehearsing choreography culminated in a memorable two-night run of Oliver Jr, superbly performed by a talented cast of J4 pupils.

Directed by a very proud Mr Melville, pupils delivered an energetic performance that left audiences wanting more.

He said: “The J4s have worked so hard on this year’s production and I could not be prouder of them. It was wonderful to see the hard work pay off as audiences enjoying it as much as we enjoyed performing it!”

In the audience on closing night was Headmaster, Mr Hartley, who exclaimed: “A spectacularly impressive performance of Oliver by our brilliant J4 cohort – bravo pupils, bravo Mr Melville!”
