On Friday, 5 May, pupils in Willow Lodge and Junior School had a wonderful time celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III. In a day that was fit for a King, pupils enjoyed a delicious Coronation lunch and were delighted to sing their very own Coronation song written by Mrs O’Leary.
Visitors to Willow Lodge can’t fail to have noticed the magnificent artwork that now adorns the fence around the playground. Each class worked on a royal-themed collaborative piece of art and they were understandably proud to pose for class photo with the finished pieces.
In the classroom, many of the activities were Coronation-themed with pupils making their own flags to wave at the street party!
