Inspired by their current storybook, Hattie Peck, our Reception children have been building their own nests in Forest School.
The children worked together to carefully place large sticks in a circle before filling in the gaps with twigs, leaves and grass to keep them sheltered from the wind. They even used the old Christmas tree branches to make a cosy carpet to sit on in the nest.
