HOCKEY: Anna enjoys European experience

Anna Walker (3FOX) recently had her first taste of an international competition when she represented UK Lions in the Netherlands.

Over the Easter holidays, Anna travelled to Rotterdam with UK Lions, playing six matches over three days. The team won four games against tough German and Dutch opposition, with Anna scoring three of the goals.

This was a fantastic experience for Anna, who enjoyed playing hockey at a different level and making new friends.

After Rotterdam, Anna didn’t have much time to rest before playing for her club, Bowdon U14 girls, at Lee Valley in London.

Playing at the Olympic Park was another unforgettable experience for Anna, which was crowned by a bronze medal for the team in the England Hockey National Supra League Finals.
