House Song ends the term on a high note

In Senior School and Sixth Form, Michaelmas Term ended on a high note with the annual House Song competition.

After months of hard work learning lyrics and perfecting choreography, students took to the stage in the hope of securing secure the 2023 House Song title.

Removes, who will join their Houses next year, were the judges, scoring each House on their musicality and the entertainment factor.

Deputy Head Pastoral, Mrs Sumner, oversaw the event and commented on the enthusiasm and effort of every pupil.

She said: “House Song is a highlight of the Michaelmas Term and it was fantastic to see all pupils from all eight of our Houses enjoying their moment in the spotlight.

“During rehearsals over the past few months, the pupils have worked together, across the year groups, to create their musical masterpieces and we all enjoyed their performances today.”

Congratulations to Walsh who were crowned the winners with their highly entertaining rendition of I am Ken from the Barbie Movie.
