Ieuan bowled over by County selection

Congratulations to Ieuan Morris (3WAL) who has been selected to play for Cheshire U14s.

Ieuan has already played a number of matches for the county, with standout performances of 37 not out against Wales, and taking one wicket for 17 runs when he opened the bowling against Durham.

Having recently made his debut for King’s 1st XI, Ieuan also plays for Alvanley Cricket Club 1st XI alongside the women’s number one bowler, Sophie Eccleston.

Director of Cricket Mark Baker said: “Ieuan is a top class athlete who excels in a number of sports at King’s, including as captain of the U14 hockey side who finished third in the country at the National Finals at Olympic Park.

“He fully deserves his place in the county cricket squad and should be very proud of what he has achieved in the sport aged just 14!”
