A number of swimmers from The King’s School Chester competed in the recent Cheshire County Swimming Championships, achieving fantastic results and winning numerous medals and titles for their clubs.
Over three weekends, swimmers competed in individual and team races in their age groups showing great competitive spirit and determination.
There were many notable performances from King’s swimmers, including from George Pearce (3GLA), Jake Thistlewood (SHGRO) and Ben Marshall (RMSC).
George won a total of six individual gold medals, four team gold medals, as well and two silvers and one bronze medal. He also came second overall in his age category.
Jake won an incredible nine gold medals, one silver and cam first overall in his age group.
Ben took home five team medals and two individual medals.
