King’s Swimming Pool Upgrade

We are lucky at King’s in that, among our facilities, we have a pool available for our pupils. The pool is a great size for the teaching of the main 4 strokes, being of a size which allows close monitoring of pupils, particularly given we have both the Junior School and Willow Lodge as regular users.

The pool has always been ‘fit for purpose’ but we have had a wonderful upgrade over the past few weeks, supervised by our Head of Estates, Mr Jones. The new surround, filtration system and graphics will help us continue to allow our pupils the chance to swim from entry to the school up until they leave, giving both the chance to develop this essential ‘life-skill’ and the ability to work on their technical swimming, life-guarding and water polo skills.
