L6 Lean Productivity workshop

Last week 20 lower sixth Business students took part in a Lean Production workshop, led by Chris Basford.

Chris is an ex Toyota Trainers Trainer for Lean Methodology/Manager in the Engine Plant, and has worked at Airbus as a Lean Consultant on A380, Jaguar Landrover as a Senior Supervisor, General Motors as a Team Leader in V6 Engine Plant and currently works for AstraZeneca as a Senior Lean Coach for medical Supply Chain.

Teams competed to see who was able to create a construction in the quickest time using the planks available. The winning team won the customer’s contract.
