Megan’s music to air live on ITV Granada Reports

ITV Granada Reports will be showing a feature on Megan Basford (L6LES) on Friday 7 June. The feature will include an interview with Megan, a live performance of Megan’s song Voicemail, the music video of a new song Time Bomb and a music video of Train Song, Megan’s first release. Megan performs country music but she is also a part of the King’s Sixth Form choir.

When being asked about her passion for music and the ITV feature, Megan said: “My Mum tells me I have always been musical and would sit and listen to music in depth from a young age. I originally started out in musical theatre from the age of four and had my first lead role on the floral pavilion at eight years old, that’s when I fell in love with performance. I taught myself to play guitar at nine as I had an interest in writing poems from a very young age and I wanted to turn them into songs, from then on I started gigging. I am mainly excited to perform although I am still quite nervous, but I really hope people like my song!”
