A musical triumph in Paris!

This week our Schola Cantorum and King’s Brass Ensemble headed to Paris for a hugely successful five day music trip!

The pupils performed an array of impressive musical pieces during their time in Paris with highlights including memorable performances at the Church of Saint-Sulpice, La Madeleine and Notre-Dame Cathedral. The Brass Ensemble also gave a fantastic impromptu performance at the gates of Les Invalides.

In between performances, the pupils visited a many attractions across the city including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, The Louvre, the Christmas Market at Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Fragonard Perfume Museum, Montparnasse Tower and a Seine River cruise.

The pupils were extremely well supported during all their performances with packed audiences present including ardent locals and a healthy support group of King’s parents!
