Netball: Season round-up

It has been a busy season of netball at King’s with impressive achievements in all age groups.

Director of Netball, Caitlin Jones, praised the commitment and hard work of the teams since September: “My first season as Director of Netball has been a busy one and it has been great to see the girls throw themselves into their sport.

“We have had some great successes this season and that is testament to the dedication and fantastic teamwork in every year group.

“I am particularly pleased that we have been able to field second and third teams in most age groups this season, giving as many pupils as possible that special opportunity to represent the school on the courts. 

“In fact, in the U13s, the third and fourth teams not only played competitively, but won and came second respectively in the Chester and District plate competition. An amazing season for our Shells girls!”

• U12A: Chester and District Cup winners
• U12B: Chester and District Cup runners-up 
• U13A: Chester and District Cup winners
• U13B: Chester and District B/C Cup winners
• U13C/D: Chester and District B/C Plate winners and runners-up
• U14s: Third place in the Chester and District Cup
• U15s: Chester and District Cup runners-up
• U16s: Chester and District Cup winners
• First Team: Runners-up in the Oswestry Cup
