Oxbridge Success for Upper Sixth students

It has been another excellent year for our Upper Sixth students, with 6 receiving offers from Oxford and Cambridge, plus an offer from Oxford for 2021 leaver Freja Davis.

In a year when competition has been particularly strong, Head of Sixth Form, Mr Carter, is delighted with the number of offers received.

He said: “Oxbridge is always competitive but has become far more so over the past ten years with greater competition on an almost yearly basis.

“Added to this was the sheer number of students from last year who took a year out and applied to Oxbridge again.

“Therefore, to gain 7 offers from both universities is a wonderful achievement and the success of these students is testament to their hard work and determination throughout the application process.”

Itsie Oyedeji (U6LES) –  Law at Mansfield College, Oxford 

Avi Sengupta (U6LES) –  Medicine at Brasenose College, Oxford

Lily Kenningham (U6DUT) – Chemistry at St Hilda’s, Oxford

Maria Rich (U6LES) –  Economics and Management at Pembroke College, Oxford 

Charlotte Scott (U6WAL) – Land Economy at Trinity Hall, Cambridge

Adam Harris (U6FOX) – Engineering at Emmanuel College, Cambridge 

Freja Davis (2021 Leaver, not pictured) has an offer to study Geography at Oxford
