A mixed squad of six J3 and J4 pupils participated in the Chester and District Quicksticks tournament on Thursday 17 October at Upton County Officers Ground. They played really well to win all 6 matches against local schools in their group and met Guilden Sutton in the final.
King’s won convincingly 5-0 and joint captains Ben Pold and Grace Henderson picked up the trophy. They will now go on to compete in the county finals in March next year and hopefully retain the trophy for King’s.
