Runaway cross country success

The cross country season is well underway and we are delighted that four talented runners from King’s have been selected to represent Cheshire over the next few weeks.

We are very proud of Amelia Snowden (SHLES) who will represent Cheshire at the English Schools’ National Championships in West Sussex on 15 March, and of Poppy McKenna (RMRL), Florence Hain (RMMB) and Leon Betteridge (RMRL) who will represent the county in an Inter-County race at the beginning of April.

In addition, the Girls’ U13 cross country squad will represent the school in the ESAA National Finals at The Grammar School at Leeds on 1 March. The girls qualified after winning the county round and finishing runners-up at the regional event in Bromsgrove last year. Good luck to the squad members:

  • Florence Hain (RMRL)

  • Amelia Snowden (SHLES)
  • Lucia Connor (SHGRO)
  • Sophie Montgomery (SHWER)
  • Alba O’Reilly (SHWER)
