Shoebox Appeal 2022

This week, charity prefects Mahir Ahsan (U6DUT) and Kitty Hughes (U6DUT) have helped to launch our 2022 shoebox appeal in aid of Teams 4U

Teams4U is local charity that works to change the lives of disadvantaged children and families around the world.

The King’s community has supported the shoebox appeal for a number of years, which sees tutor groups work together to fill a box that is given to a child in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia or Romania. Teams4U works with local community groups, schools, orphanages and hospitals to ensure that the boxes reach the children who need it the most.

Senior School students have been asked to bring in donations with the aim of creating at least one box per tutor group.

The deadline for completing the boxes is Thursday, 1 December.
