In the summer term, as we put away the football boots and hockey sticks, our focus turns to cricket, athletics and tennis.
This year, we are delighted that we will be able to offer a more comprehensive programme of Tennis at King’s as we partner with All Court Tennis Academy to provide professional coaching in games lessons and co-curricular clubs.
All Court Tennis Academy are based at local club, Glan Aber LTA and Head coach Aidan Wiggins and coach Philip Hough will be working with pupils in Senior School, as well as in J3 and J4.
Director of Sport, Richard Lunn, is excited about the future of Tennis at King’s.
He said: “We are delighted that our pupils will be able to benefit from the expertise of Aidan and Philip, both highly qualified LTA coaches.
“Their input will help us develop the skills of our pupils and will support the PE department in achieving our long-term plans for tennis”
Aidan and Philip will start after the Easter holidays and both are looking forward to sharing their experience and love of the game.
