U11 boys crowned Cheshire Champions

Our U11 boys are celebrating after adding another football trophy to the Junior School cabinet.

Named as Chester Schools Champions in December, the team progressed to the English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) Cheshire Finals which were played in Crewe last week.

Scoring a total of ten goals and conceding only one, they won all six of their matches to take the Cheshire title.

Mr Spellman coaches the U11 boys and congratulated them on their latest win.

He said: “The boys played brilliantly as a team and deserved their victory.

“They will now progress through to the Northern Finals where they will represent all Cheshire primary schools.

“This is the biggest football competition for primary schools in the country and the boys should be very proud of their performance in the tournament so far.”
