GALLERY: World Book Day in Willow Lodge

Our infants have had a wonderful World Book Day, sharing their favourite books and celebrating their love of reading.

Children were invited to dress as a character from their favourite book, or to come in their pyjamas ready to enjoy a bedtime story. Witches, wizards and princesses played alongside Paddington Bear, Stick Man, Mary Poppins and even the Magic Faraway Tree!

The school was buzzing with a variety of book-related activities throughout the day, including a very popular book swap which gave the excited children a chance to discover new books, and possibly a new favourite.

Reception children ended their day with two stories from our Senior School Librarian Mrs Harding in the Wickson Library.
