Congratulations to young artists in Willow Lodge and Junior School who recently took part in the 2024 AJIS Art Exhibition.
Held at The Grange Junior School in March, pupils were invited to submit pieces of work on the theme of Drawing from Life.
All pupils were encouraged to enter with Infant 2 teachers Mrs Hartley-Richards and Junior School art teacher Kirsty Savage coordinating the entries from The King’s School.
Both teachers were delighted with the quality of the artwork she received from pupils.
Mrs Hartley-Richards said: “From Reception to J4, everyone worked very hard to produce their very best work and I was blown away by the pictures we were able to submit.
“I visited the exhibition on Tuesday, 12 March and was so proud to see so many of our pictures displayed.
“Many of our children were placed in the top three in their age category, and others were highly commended for their work.”
