Over the centuries The King’s School has benefited tremendously from the generosity of others. Its very existence is living testimony to this support, with buildings, bursaries and prizes that reflect the commitment of former generations to the future.
Today, whilst most of our income is generated from fees, the School also undertakes fundraising for important initiatives and projects that simply would not be possible without those who support us.
Looking forward, we will need to modernise some of our buildings and facilities for the benefit of pupils now and in the future. To do this, we are seeking additional philanthropic support from our alumni and friends. Alongside our plans for our school buildings and true to our founding mission, we continue to seek new support for bursaries to help us retain and indeed improve our ability to offer financial assistance with fees.
As a proud Old King Scholar, I simply think it’s the right thing to do to share whatever time, talent and spare resource one can to help those with the talent and tenacity to make the most of what King’s offers.
